Global configurations
From the "root" setup page, you define the structure of your thinclient network.
You can make groups (typically either geographical, function related or based on IP addresses), and you create global sessions - these are connections to different terminal servers, mainframe computers, or www sessions. Which thinclients that will have access to which sessions is something to define later.
From the same setup page, you can create a number of scheduled tasks to be assigned to clients (again: a single, a group or all clients) later - these are tasks like "fresh install all clients at 2 AM Monday morning".
The Mixin Profile feature is highly appreciated by current Multiframe users; based on the huge number of hardware and software information and parameters collected from each thin client, you can create "if-then" rules to control different operational situations. For instance, you may have a reason to decide that all clients with an S3Virge video card suddenly should be limited to a 16 bit color depth. Use the pulldown menus to select the trigger values, and activate. That's it.
You can also easily select a custom background image to be used on the clients' desktops (your company's logo, maybe? in combination with the contact info for your corporate IT helpdesk?), in addition to boot-up messages that can replace the default boot-up information on the clients.
This is also where you add admin users, with optionally different levels of admin rights.
You can also create admin usergroups.
